Geometric centers | Elementary geometry

Centre (geometry)

In geometry, a centre (or center; from Ancient Greek κέντρον (kéntron) 'pointy object') of an object is a point in some sense in the middle of the object. According to the specific definition of center taken into consideration, an object might have no center. If geometry is regarded as the study of isometry groups, then a center is a fixed point of all the isometries that move the object onto itself. (Wikipedia).

What are the different types of inscribed angles

Learn the essential definitions of the parts of a circle. A secant line to a circle is a line that crosses exactly two points on the circle while a tangent line to a circle is a line that touches exactly one point on the circle. A chord is a line that has its two endpoints on the circle.

Oriented circles and relativistic geometry II | Wild Linear Algebra 35 | NJ Wildberger

We continue our discussion of oriented, or signed, or directed circles in the plane, which are also called cycles, and the intimate connection with relativistic geometry in three dimensions. This correspondence makes it easier for us to apply linear algebraic ideas to the geometry of circl
