Straight lines defined for a triangle
In geometry, a cevian is a line that intersects both a triangle's vertex, and also the side that is opposite to that vertex. Medians and angle bisectors are special cases of cevians. The name "cevian" comes from the Italian mathematician Giovanni Ceva, who proved a well-known theorem about cevians which also bears his name. (Wikipedia).

Ceres Rotation and Occator Crater
Dwarf planet Ceres is shown in these false-color renderings, which highlight differences in surface materials. Images from NASA’s Dawn spacecraft were used to create a movie of Ceres rotating, followed by a flyover view of Occator Crater, home of Ceres’ brightest area.

Triangle Side Trisection: Cool Phenomenon
In a triangle, if you draw 6 cevians that end up trisecting all the triangle's sides, you get this phenomenon. Why does this occur? Source: Antonio Gutierrez. https://www.geogebra.org/m/qhabmchn #GeoGebra #geometry #math

Orthocenters exist! | Universal Hyperbolic Geometry 10 | NJ Wildberger
In classical hyperbolic geometry, orthocenters of triangles do not in general exist. Here in universal hyperbolic geometry, they do. This is a crucial building block for triangle geometry in this subject. The dual of an orthocenter is called an ortholine---also not seen in classical hyperb
