Regge calculus

In general relativity, Regge calculus is a formalism for producing simplicial approximations of spacetimes that are solutions to the Einstein field equation. The calculus was introduced by the Italian theoretician Tullio Regge in 1961. (Wikipedia).

Regular Expressions Tutorial

A regular expression, regex or regexp (sometimes called a rational expression) is a sequence of characters that define a search pattern. Usually such patterns are used by string searching algorithms for "find" or "find and replace" operations on strings, or for input validation. It is a te

The Nambu-Goto Action | String Theory

The Nambu-Goto action describes the propagation of a one-dimensional object, a string, through space-time. This is a beautiful generalization of the zero-dimensional case for the point particle. References: [1] Blumenhagen, Lüst, Theisen, "Basic Concepts of String Theory", Springer (201
