Philosophers of mathematics | Pythagoreans
Zeno of Elea (/ˈziːnoʊ ... ˈɛliə/; Ancient Greek: Ζήνων ὁ Ἐλεᾱ́της; c. 495 – c. 430 BC) was a pre-Socratic Greek philosopher of Magna Graecia and a member of the Eleatic School founded by Parmenides. Aristotle called him the inventor of the dialectic. He is best known for his paradoxes, which Bertrand Russell described as "immeasurably subtle and profound". (Wikipedia).

I suspect that my father was Zeno of Elea. On a family road trip, he silenced my fidgety impatience with a math problem beyond my years and education. Fifty years later, in a short tale of mathematics, I prove that my childish intuition was correct. #SoME1

Is the Universe Analog or Digital?
The fletcher's paradox, proposed by pre-Socratic philosopher Zeno of Elea, states that if you watch an arrow in flight, it looks continuous. But if you segment the flight into points of time, the apparent movement becomes a series of rests. So Zeno asked: Is time continuous, or is it made
