In mathematics, the ratio test is a test (or "criterion") for the convergence of a series where each term is a real or complex number and an is nonzero when n is large. The test was first published by Jean le Rond d'Alembert and is sometimes known as d'Alembert's ratio test or as the Cauchy ratio test. (Wikipedia).

The Pre-Ratio Test. In this video, I prove an important result about sequences called the pre-ratio test which is used in calculus. This will be valuable when we will study series. It says that, the root test is strictly better than the ratio test in the following sense: if the ratio test

Odds Ratios and Log(Odds Ratios), Clearly Explained!!!
Odds Ratios and Log(Odds Ratios) are like R-Squared - they describe a relationship between two things. And just like R-Squared, you need to determine if this relationship is statistically significant. This StatQuest goes over all these details so that you are ready for any odds ratio and l
