Theorems regarding stochastic processes | Markov processes
In probability theory, Foster's theorem, named after Gordon Foster, is used to draw conclusions about the positive recurrence of Markov chains with countable state spaces. It uses the fact that positive recurrent Markov chains exhibit a notion of "Lyapunov stability" in terms of returning to any state while starting from it within a finite time interval. (Wikipedia).
Cayley-Hamilton Theorem Example 2
Matrix Theory: Let A be the 3x3 matrix A = [1 2 2 / 2 0 1 / 1 3 4] with entries in the field Z/5. We verify the Cayley-Hamilton Theorem for A and compute the inverse of I + A using a geometric power series.

Cayley-Hamilton Theorem: General Case
Matrix Theory: We state and prove the Cayley-Hamilton Theorem over a general field F. That is, we show each square matrix with entries in F satisfies its characteristic polynomial. We consider the special cases of diagonal and companion matrices before giving the proof.

Jacobian chain rule and inverse function theorem
A lecture that discusses: the general chain rule for the Jacobian derivative; and the inverse function theorem. The concepts are illustrated via examples and are seen in university mathematics.

In this video, I present another example of Stokes theorem, this time using it to calculate the line integral of a vector field. It is a very useful theorem that arises a lot in physics, for example in Maxwell's equations. Other Stokes Example: https://youtu.be/-fYbBSiqvUw Yet another Sto

Cayley-Hamilton Theorem: Example 1
Matrix Theory: We verify the Cayley-Hamilton Theorem for the real 3x3 matrix A = [ / / ]. Then we use CHT to find the inverse of A^2 + I.
