Combinatorics | Generating functions
In combinatorial mathematics, cyclic sieving is a phenomenon by which evaluating a generating function for a finite set at roots of unity counts symmetry classes of objects acted on by a cyclic group. (Wikipedia).
A way to connect fluid to a swinging cylinder. Fluid enters and leaves the swinging cylinder through its stationary pivot so flexible pipes are not needed. All pink parts are stationary. The arrows show fluid flows.

Geneva Wheel for Precise Indexing
A modified type of Geneva wheel that was developed to obtain precise intermittent indexing movements. This special mechanism was designed to eliminate any backlash or over-running action of the driven member at the end or beginning of each indexing movement. It uses a double locking, with

reciprocating rack geneva dwell
A reciprocating movement mechanism. It uses an eccentric shaft to move a mutilated geneva wheel, resulting in a non-continuous reciprocating movement, with iddle times between movements. The output is rotation, but can be converted to linear using another rack/pinion or a slider-crank mech

C80 Solving a linear DE with Laplace transformations
Showing how to solve a linear differential equation by way of the Laplace and inverse Laplace transforms. The Laplace transform changes a linear differential equation into an algebraical equation that can be solved with ease. It remains to do the inverse Laplace transform to calculate th

Hydraulic cylinder with fixed piston
Green cylinder with machine table reciprocates. Pressure fluid is conducted into cylinder via holes on fixed piston rod. The hoses can be stationary. In case using holes on the cylinder the hoses have to move with the cylinder. The arrows show flows of pressure fluid.
