Classifying space for O(n)

In mathematics, the classifying space for the orthogonal group O(n) may be constructed as the Grassmannian of n-planes in an infinite-dimensional real space . It is analogous to the classifying space for U(n). * v * t * e (Wikipedia).

Linear Algebra - Lecture 29 - Column Space of a Matrix

In this video, I define the column space of a matrix. I also compare column space to null space (discussed in the previous lecture) and work through some examples.

In the Langlands program over number fields, automorphic representations and Galois representations are placed into correspondence, using the cohomology of Shimura varieties as an intermediary. Over a function field, the appropriate intermediary is a moduli space of shtukas. We introduce t

Angélica M. Osorno - Equivariant Infinite Loop Space Machines

An equivariant infinite loop space machine is a functor that constructs genuine equivariant spectra out of simpler categorical or space level data. In the late 80’s Lewis–May–Steinberger and Shimakawa developed generalizations of the operadic approach and the G-space approach respectively.
