Logicomix

Logicomix: An Epic Search for Truth is a graphic novel about the foundational quest in mathematics, written by Apostolos Doxiadis, author of Uncle Petros and Goldbach's Conjecture, and at the time Berkeley's theoretical computer scientist Christos Papadimitriou. Character design and artwork are by Alecos Papadatos and color is by Annie Di Donna. The book was originally written in English, and was translated into Greek by author Apostolos Doxiadis for the release in Greece, which preceded the UK and U.S. releases. (Wikipedia).

Matrix addition

How do we add matrices. A matrix is an abstract object that exists in its own right, and in this sense, it is similar to a natural number, or a complex number, or even a polynomial. Each element in a matrix has an address by way of the row in which it is and the column in which it is. Y

Linear regression

Linear regression is used to compare sets or pairs of numerical data points. We use it to find a correlation between variables.

Finding the inverse of a 2x2 matrix

In this video I show you one method of calculating the inverse of a square matrix. We can use this inverse to solve for a system of linear equations. Mathematica has a function called Inverse that easily calculates the inverse of a matrix. You can learn more about Mathematica on my Udem

Inverse matrices

The inverse of a matrix is a similarly sized matrix such that the multiplication of the two matrices results in the identity matrix. In this video we look at an example of this. You can learn more about Mathematica on my Udemy course at https://www.udemy.com/mathematica/ PS! Wait until

Example of Fourier's Trick

Linear Algebra: Given an orthonormal basis of R^n, we present a quick method for finding coefficients of linear combination in terms of the basis. We also give an analogue of Parseval's Identity, which relates these coefficients to the squared length of the vector.
