Theory of probability distributions | Independence (probability theory)
In statistics, and specifically in the study of the Dirichlet distribution, a neutral vector of random variables is one that exhibits a particular type of statistical independence amongst its elements. In particular, when elements of the random vector must add up to certain sum, then an element in the vector is neutral with respect to the others if the distribution of the vector created by expressing the remaining elements as proportions of their total is independent of the element that was omitted. Calculus 3: Vector Calculus in 2D (17 of 39) What is the Position Vector?
Visit http://ilectureonline.com for more math and science lectures! In this video I will explain what is the position vector. The position vector indicates the position of a particle relative to the origin. The position usually depends on, or is a function of, a parametric variable (ex. t

Symmetrical Components | What Is 3-Phase Power? -- Part 4
In 3-phase electrical power systems, system operation can either be balanced or unbalanced. Unbalanced operation is undesirable, and there needs to be a good way to analyze system imbalance so you can assess the severity of an imbalance, define appropriate settings for protection relays, a

Fundamentals of 3-Phase Electricity | What Is 3-Phase Power? -- Part 1
In AC electrical systems, 3-phase power is commonly used, due to the increased power density, efficiency, and operational flexibility compared with single-phase systems. Understanding how 3-phase electricity behaves in balanced and unbalanced systems is fundamentally important for AC elect
