LOCC, or local operations and classical communication, is a method in quantum information theory where a local (product) operation is performed on part of the system, and where the result of that operation is "communicated" classically to another part where usually another local operation is performed conditioned on the information received. (Wikipedia).
Nexus Trimester - Andreas Winter (Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona)
Reflections on Quantum Data Hiding Andreas Winter (Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona) March 22, 2016 Abstract: Quantum data hiding, originally invented as a limitation on local operations and classical communications (LOCC) in distinguishing globally orthogonal states, is actually a phenom

A surprising majorization relation and its applications - N. Datta - Main Conference - CEB T3 2017
Nilanjana Datta (Cambridge) / 11.12.2017 Title: A surprising majorization relation and its applications Abstract: Any two arbitrary quantum states, acting on a given Hilbert space, need not be related by a majorization ordering, even if they are close to each other. Surprisingly, howeve
