Image (mathematics)

In mathematics, the image of a function is the set of all output values it may produce. More generally, evaluating a given function at each element of a given subset of its domain produces a set, called the "image of under (or through) ". Similarly, the inverse image (or preimage) of a given subset of the codomain of is the set of all elements of the domain that map to the members of Image and inverse image may also be defined for general binary relations, not just functions. A solar system, a simulation made with Excel

An Excel simulation of the solar system. You can see how things are recursively computed: the mutual gravity force from the locations, the accelerations, the velocities, and finally the updated locations. The solar eclipse is also shown. This is clip is intended to illustrate Chapter 24 Ap

Invertible Matrices correspond with Invertible Transformations **proof**

Invertible Matrices are an algebraic concept that helps us solve Linear Systems of Equations. Invertible Transformations are a geometric concept where we can "undo" a transformation. But in fact they coincide! In this video, we prove that if you have an invertible matrix, the transformatio
