In telecommunications and signal processing, baseband is the range of frequencies occupied by a signal that has not been modulated to higher frequencies. Baseband signals typically originate from transducers, converting some other variable into an electrical signal. For example, the output of a microphone is a baseband signal that is an analog of the applied voice audio. In conventional analog radio broadcasting the baseband audio signal is used to modulate an RF carrier signal at a much higher frequency. A baseband signal may have frequency components going all the way down to DC, or at least it will have a high ratio bandwidth. A modulated baseband signal is called a passband signal. This occupies a higher range of frequencies and has a lower ratio and fractional bandwidth. (Wikipedia).

Acids and Bases - Short Revision || CBSE Science || || Infinity Learn Class 9&10
Acids and bases are two types of substances that are fundamental to chemistry. An acid is a substance that donates protons (hydrogen ions, H+) to a solution, while a base is a substance that accepts protons or donates hydroxide ions (OH-) to a solution. There are several ways to define and

The Generalized Neighborhood Base Construction
The generalized neighborhood base construction of a topology is a tool for creating topological spaces some of which end up being important counterexamples in the study of general topological spaces. The construction takes its inspiration from the ability to form a base for topology from a

Units in a Ring (Abstract Algebra)
The units in a ring are those elements which have an inverse under multiplication. They form a group, and this “group of units” is very important in algebraic number theory. Using units you can also define the idea of an “associate” which lets you generalize the fundamental theorem of ar
